BDJ Box 2014: Jan/Feb

i got a lovely surprise in the mail the other day: the first BDJ box of the year, chockfull of lovely beauty samples (with some full-sized goodies too!) and gift vouchers to make any girl squeal.

the last BDJ box i had the pleasure of opening was a year ago, so you can imagine my excitement to see what new things await my discovery. i nearly tore off the pretty paper, lol.

i first opened the little box that was packed separately from the actual BDJ set, which turned out to be a 100ml bottle of garnier color naturals (P199) in the color darkest brown. this also comes with an olive oil post-color conditioner that supposedly nourishes hair and leaves a nice shine.

i dug into the actual box and found a 30ml tube of avon’s anew 15-in-1 CC cream (p699), which promises skin correction and immediate radiance upon application. i’ll still have to try it out to see if it lives up to its claims, but i am most excited to use it because of its SPF 30!

also included are three P500 gift vouchers to use at the aesthetic institute of the philippines, one free brow construction at browhaus worth P598, and two discount coupons to use at azta salon — P600 off brazilian treatment and P800 off digital perm.

also included are two 130g moringa soaps from beauty and bright (P114), packed with ingredients like kojic acid, papaya and lactic acid that work together to renew and lighten the skin without drying.

tony moly‘s got some of its beauty essentials in the set, too. included are sample packs of tomatox magic white (whitening + anti-ageing face mask, P548), oriental gyeol emulsion (oil-balancing moisturizer, P1398), intense care live snail cream (firming face cream, P2098) and luminous live aura CC cream (primer/moisturizer/sunblock, P948). i’m excited to try all of them!

from my amazing blow dry are two packets of their secret shampoo and conditioner (P1200/ea), both of which formulated with virgin coconut oil that wicks water away for 50% faster blow dry — leaving your hair luxuriously silky, shiny and protected.

finally, these three little guys: ellana lip and cheek tint in ruby (P220), yves rocher sexy pulp mascara (P650) and revlon nail art in neon (P375). definitely gonna get plenty of use out of these!

subscribing to the BDJ box is seriously one of the awesomest things you can do for yourself. not only do you end up with lots of cool things to try, you might also find those HG beauty products everybody seems to be hunting for these days. either way you will for sure enjoy the work – and fun! – that goes into these boxes. 😉
