Pampered Like Royalty | Princess Hazel Salon Giveaway!

a few weeks ago i got to try the amazing PRINCESS HAZEL SALON & SPA in QC and got pampered like a princess. the interiors are, as i’m sure you can see, spectacularly pretty and their services quite affordable for such a vast selection things. i opted to get a half-leg wax, their signature facial, and eyebrow threading — the latter of which i’d never experienced before so i was a bit nervous.

we started with the leg wax and i was shown the brand of wax the salon uses (gigi). i was told it was a trusted name in the field and soon enough i found out why: the wax really gets every strand of hair out and leaves the skin super smooth. i really enjoyed this service and plan to get all my future leg waxes here!

i was then brought to another room, in which i experienced the salon’s signature facial. it was pretty standard, but with lots of face, head and shoulder massages that left me floating on air. really makes you forget the pain of pricking! haha. it was topped off with a whitening mask to help even out the skin and fade dark spots.

finally, my brow threading commenced. as mentioned, i’ve not had this done professionally before (i’ve always plucked and shaped my own brows) so i was very anxious. i was worried it might get a bit out of hand so i made it a point to ask the technician to only clean up around my brows (as you can see in the “before” pic i have lots of baby hair on my forehead, plus i let my brows grow out at the bottom for a couple of weeks) and she was happy to oblige. i absolutely love the results and i can honestly say i’ve become a convert. i will, from now on, get my eyebrows shaped professionally and i’m happy i have this salon nearby because it’s such an affordable option.
