Wishlist Wednesday: Modern 60’s

while i don’t don the 60’s mod look often (i can probably count the instances i’ve worn it with one hand!), i do appreciate the aesthetic behind it. it certainly looks amazing in editorials and lookbooks, constantly urging me to step out of my comfort zone — a.k.a. the 50’s silhouette — and give it more of a fighting chance. i don’t think i can really pull off the straight-up mod aesthetic but modern twists here and there make it a lot more appealing to my eyes. above is a simple wishlist / moodboard i put together to get me in the spirit of recreating the look!
