Wearable Vampy Lips & Affordable Options

the vampy lip is undoubtedly one of the most intimidating make-up trends to sport, especially when worn in an everyday setting. it took me a while to get comfortable wearing darker, deeper shades, but as soon as i took the plunge it got so much easier! my little collection of vampy lip shades is growing steadily and today i thought i’d share with you my top five drugstore/affordable options if you want to try the look — or are looking to expand your collection.

i also opted for simple sparkly eyes in the tutorial, great for day-to-day, and tied the look together with pink cheeks and glow-y skin.

i LOVE all five shades featured above. the matte lip color from elf is the easiest to pull off (it’s great for daytime wear!) but from time to time i like to go more dramatic with the wet n wild fergie lipstick, which incidentally is a dupe for MAC’s cult-fave rebel lipstick AND wet n wild’s sugar plum fairy.
