Haircut For A Cause

with the goal of uplifting the lives of filipino children braving the battle against cancer, MATRIX philippines is participating in the Matrix Chairs of Change program two years counting. the worldwide initiative challenges both hairdressers and willing participants nationwide to share in this worthwhile cause. the campaign is in partnership with David’s Salon, which has pledged 80 hairdressers to contribute their styling talents, and with Kythe Ateneo, which will serve as the beneficiary.

from august 1 to september 18, filipinos are invited to be part of the movement by signing up at www.MatrixCutfForCancer.com. then on september 19, all registered volunteers can head to the 2nd level mega atrium in SM megamall to have 8 inches of their hair cut and be transformed into wigs for children battling cancer.

those who prefer to get their hair cut elsewhere can simply tie their hair donation into a ponytail and store in a resealable plastic bag, labeled with their name and date of haircut. please mail it to: Matrix Philippines Office (Mezzanine Floor, Robinson’s Equitable Tower, ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City). select David’s Salon branches will also be accepting hair donations starting september 20, 2015, to which regular hair cut charges will apply.
