these pictures were taken several weeks ago and i’d nearly forgotten they even existed. my bad! it feels quite strange to see myself wrapped up in a sweater (a turtleneck at that), trotting along in my leopard-print shoes. i remember this particular day: it was awfully windy with an unmistakable chill in the air. we all thought the crisp weather would last a couple of weeks — nay, a couple of months, as it often does, about once a year — but with the blink of an eye it all went away. it now almost feels like full-on summer on the daily, and it becomes quite a task to get dressed in most anything. all i wanted was my two months of pseudo-winter weather, where i could throw on some layers and not have to worry about my makeup melting off my face. was that really too much to ask?
on the bright side though, i am feeling quite excited to dress up in pretty pastels and summertime prints this year! what wardrobe changes do you most look forward to in the spring/summer?
