Work Outfit: Knotted

dressing this casual and rugged isn’t exactly encouraged in my workplace, but i suppose i can get away with it because of the nature of my work. i am pretty much holed up in a cubicle for 8 hours or more everyday, far from the critical eye of our clients or even the general public. but on the other hand, i feel like when i am all decked-out in my usual, dressier outfits i tend to go out more (like during breaks), attracting scrutinizing stares from strangers and apparently securing myself nicknames with some of them. a particularly friendly guy (who much prefers to be called miss, really) refers to me as “lady gaga” and every time we cross paths i get to hear a verse of bad romance from him — leading to even more stares from random passerby.

i’ve personally never really seen my semblance to gaga (do you?), but i suppose it doesn’t hurt to have someone liken me to an icon known for being different and not giving a damn.
