out of town tripping
it was my 50th post to wardrobe_remix (yay!) and it felt wonderful. i’m just happy to be part of a community of people who share nothing but love and appreciation for each other’s creativity and passion for fashion (among other things).
so for my 50th post, i went for a 50’s-inspired outfit. with, of course, a more modern flair.
plaid skirt – thrifted
tights – local mall
shoes of utter fabulousness – thrifted
purse – local bazaar
floral scarf – thrifted
cuff – sillymeclothing (local brand)
*oh, and i was glad to have incorporated a scarf in an outfit. i’ve never really done that, except for the usual knitted kind for more practical purposes. i also kinda liked the idea that the only non-knit scarf i own is pink and floral.
the gorgeous scenery was courtesy of the taal volcano (and lake!) in tagaytay. we passed through there on our way to batangas, where we attended my two cousins’ birthday party. it was a fun fun day! i missed going on road trips and taking a million pictures per second.
