RED vs. BLACK
i went to work wearing the red tights, wondering if any of my bosses would perhaps reprimand me for being too “experimental” or “different” with my work attire. i always knew the company i work for maintains a certain level of conservativeness and the president/ceo prefers a subtle, respectable image than something more subversive (or whatever). so i brought my black patterned tights with me, just in case something comes up and the red ones would cause a fuss.
well, no one really reacted violently to my outfit. in fact most people complimented me (a girly-girl colleague even asked where i got the red tights), and i was pretty happy about that. but later in the afternoon the company’s president came into the office and i freaked out. i somehow sneaked past him and slid into the ladies’ room where i changed into my black tights. so technically, he didn’t even see them red wonders.
to sum up… i am a wuss.
houndstooth dress – jatujak market, bangkok
paisley blazer – kids of bayo (local children’s brand)
red tights – ebay
pink strappy shoes – thrifted

i would’ve done the same thing. i tend to panic about breaking rules which is some times funny because i seem so paranoid. i love how you mixed and matched the clashing prints with the red tights, but still ended up with a beautiful outfit.=)
