(or, quite literally, continue the thought: when it rains and then the sun suddenly shines…)

i was listening to my dj friend’s radio show one tuesday afternoon, and this was his question of the day. i had but one answer: it probably means i’m hot as hell.

usually when it gets rainy here i suit-up for it. long sleeves, layers, tights… the whole deal. i guess you could say i get over-excited about the rain. but when you live in a tropical country such as ours where there is only hot and hotter climate, a bit of cool weather is more than welcome — in my books, at least.

on the day i wore this dress, there was such an occurence with the sun ‘stopping’ the rain rather abruptly. it was right after a storm was just announced to be wreaking havoc in several parts of the country; when classes were suspended at noon and apparently, neck-deep floods were everywhere. but alas, by mid-afternoon it was all gone, and all i was left with was the warmest outfit i’ve ever put together.
