Jeggings
don’t you just hate that word? it gives me an involuntary urge to cringe. and possibly vomit.
i’ll admit, the first time i heard it was quite recent. my best friend had brought me presents from her trip to hongkong. when i opened the goodie bag i saw the jeans-like leggings and expressed delight (it was the first time i saw a pair that didn’t look so…cheap). she said, “they’re called jeggings”.
well, i didn’t like the term then. i still don’t. but they are surprisingly stylish and oh-so-comfortable. so i’ll keep on wearing them, but i refuse to utter that word in public.
do excuse my fringe in the fourth photo, it seems to have a life of its own sometimes!
gray dress – thrifted
jeg…leggings – gift
studded booties – parisian
chunky ring – yrys
personalized cuff – bazaar
p.s.
this is the dress i recently thrifted! i added the black bow (it was from a hairclip) and voila! instant cuteness. (;

What a lovely dress! I adore the bow you added! And I agree, the term "jeggings" is terrible, but I like the feel and fit of jean leggings (or legging jeans).

that bow definitely added an instant cuteness (i even thought it was a part of the dress!!) i really love this look, bestie. the jeggings (*puke*) toned down the feminine vibe from the dress and made this outfit "edgier" 🙂

Still fighting with Jeggings. They are such a great idea – the comfortable version of skinny jeans… but can I wear them?!?!? They certainly look gorgeous on you!

Oh wow! You look fantastic in these silvery/white/grey tones. I love them. And no I don't have a pair of jeggings – definitely a horrible word.
