Go Green
the national elections are literally right around the corner and i can’t tell you how nervous i am about it. not only because it is our first automated elections and so many things could go wrong, but also because of the terrifying fact that we can easily elect the wrong leaders — once again.
this blog has never really delved into political matters, although you can imagine how much of it i encounter everyday, being in the media and all. but perhaps it is for that reason that i prefer to avoid the topic outside of work.
so i am not about to wax poetic about my choice of presidential candidate here. i will, however, say this: if gilbert teodoro does not win the elections, i will be sorely frightened of the country’s future.
why is gibo my president, you ask? read THIS.
if you are worried about his affiliation with president arroyo, read THIS.
and if those aren’t enough, find out why karen davila is pro-green HERE.
guys, seriously. it’s not about popularity or the most number of ads out there. think long and hard about the people you put into office, not just for the presidency but every other position as well. let’s make these elections count!

I agree B (hope you don't mind me calling you B, lol)! I really really hope the Filipinos think this time. Or not vote just because of popularity. I heard some member of a certain church say they want to vote for another candidate but they can't coz they have to vote who their leader says they should vote. I hope thye'd be brave enough to stand up for theirs and their children's future.
Anyway, I super love your outfit. 🙂 You look amazing!

First of all, you look so chic, and I love your glasses.
Second of all, I've also been thinking about voting for Gibo Teodoro. For me, he's the most intelligent candidate and he actually seems to have a plan for our country (not just promises like all the other candidates). 😛
