Reunited
i’ve had this dress for months now – maybe even a year – but it’s been pushed to the back of my closet because of all the alterations i needed and wanted to do with it. a shorter hem was a given, but i also toyed with the idea of attaching some shoulder pads to play up its 80’s vibe. the dress also had a few loose threads here and there.
but because i really am terrible with projects (especially those to do with sewing), i’ve pretty much forgotten about all these… until i woke up one gloomy morning without a clue what to wear to work. i remembered how much i loved the bright blue hue of this dress and literally dug into my piles of clothes to find it. i put it on and felt like i was reunited with a long-lost love.
