It’s boho, baby.
i’ve always veered away from maxi dresses for fear of emphasizing my being, er, vertically-challenged. but after trying this one and loving it, i gotta say i can’t get enough maxis! i honestly wanna buy loads more but with the typhoon season practically upon us, it’s just downright impractical. so i’ll have to settle with this one for now.
i went all bohemian-chic (again) with my favorite boots and my little braid. and nothing says hippie like a massive rainbow on my finger.

PS
i’m not much of a photographer but i thought i’d try my hand at an “artistic” shot. i propped the camera on top of a slide, set the timer, and ran like a mad woman.
i do like myself some bokeh.

I felt the same about maxidresses too. Then I bought my first maxidress and discovered that it can actually make me look taller, especially when worn with heels. That's a gorgeous dress!

i've the same fear! i thought it only looked good on tall people, but i've been seeing a lot of, as you say, "vertically challenged" girls wear it & pull it off, like you! i hope i can too! haven't found the perfect print yet, so i'm still a maxi virgin to date, but hopefully i'll find the one soon & see how it'll work out for me. 😀

I don't get how when some petite girls wear maxi dresses they end up looking even longer. You look so lithe in these pictures. I'm liking the vibe of the photos and the headband especially!
I adore all the bohemian looks you've been posting lately. 🙂 Suits you!

LOVE maxi dresses. I am not vertically challenged. However, I have trouble finding ones that don't show to much of the chest region. I love the bohemian look, but I am also pretty shy. This one is bright, and you look lovely in it. Great accessories too.

@Anonymous: Thanks, you are too kind! It's not a headband, I just braided my hair that way. Junk Studio is an online store, you can find it on Multiply. (:
