Say what you want about aging, it’s still the only way to have old friends.

during the holy week vacation i really thought i would end up staying in bed the whole time because i had a weird back pain for almost 4 days. but eventually it got better and i was able to make impromptu plans with some of my oldest girl friends.

on thursday, a few of us went to taytay, rizal for a birthday salubong. crazy traffic and grumbling stomachs (mine!) didn’t stop us from having giggles and an altogether grand time. plus we had a breathtaking view of the ortigas and makati skylines!

saturday was even more spontaneous, as we did a kind of surprise, “kidnapping” method to make sure all five of us would come. my friend’s little girl, nicole, also tagged along as we had a wee picnic at the university of the philippines – eating no less than the campus’ famous street foods! too bad we didn’t find any isaw though. hmm, maybe next time. (:

apparently i make a lot of weird faces in front of the camera. haha.
