So Posh

it was a bit of a bummer though because i came from an overtime at work so i arrived at around 11 pm, and the other bloggers were long gone. amazingly enough, the place still had a handful of customers getting pampered when i got there. that’s the first good thing i found out about posh nails: they’re open until midnight!

first i was greeted by the nail salon’s sugary sweet interiors. everything was so girly and, well, pink!

i was given a cup of joe (because i had the coffee-themed service) and a few magazines to pass the time.

then came the first part of my pampering: a warm, bubbly foot bath!

then they showed the coffee-scented scrub and lotion they were going to use on me. sooo yummy!

then came the second part: scrub scrub scrub – plus a relaxing massage afterwards!

at this point i busied myself with choosing nail polish colors for my hands and feet. it was a rather daunting task, what with the dozens of choices before me! but i was so giddy, of course – like a kid in a candy store. i actually giggled (to myself) a few times whenever i’d see a particularly gorgeous shade that excited me. hah!

i ended up choosing these two shades: a pastel orange (nubar’s orange creme) for my toes and a light, seafoam-green-ish blue (nicole by opi’s my lifesaver, from the justin bieber collection) for my fingers.

i couldn’t help grinning while the orange was being applied to my toenails. so cute!

and the blue… *sigh* it was just perfect. i can’t tell you how long i’ve searched for this shade of blue. it’s actually a lot prettier in person, where you can see the green coming out a bit more. love!

i arrived home at almost 1 in the morning and i still had to let my nails dry a bit.. so i sat on my bed eating a convenience store-bought mexican wrap, falling asleep every 30 seconds! haha. but it was well worth it!
