Rainy Day Uniform

a lot of people find it odd that i prefer to wear dresses on rainy days instead of jeans and other types of trousers. i say to them, well, why not? it’s actually easier! i commute everywhere and with dresses i don’t have to worry about my hem dipping into yucky puddles or dragging my feet because the bottom of my jeans are completely soaked in water. right? RIGHT? who’s with me on this? (:

anyway, here is my typical rainy day uniform: a dress + tights, a coat of some sort, and a “waterproof” bag and shoes. and an umbrella too, of course! the one pictured here is the cutest one i own. my mom bought it in japan (or was it korea, hmm) and it has ruffles all around it. sucks that i couldn’t capture the print; it’s a bunch of cats with their own little umbrellas! so adorbs.
