Where’s the beach?

i thought i’d share with you some of my current favorites — things that, when put together, seem to scream BEACH TIME! (but no, i am not going anywhere near sand + salt water anytime soon, hehe.)

my new floppy hat from h&m and gorgeous midi dress, both gifted by ginge:

a denim tote bag i thrifted for a buck. i want to take this everywhere!

an adorable bracelet made of vintage buttons and knick-knacks i got at mercato centrale:

my new SXUC sunnies c/o sunglasses shop. i am obsessed with tortoise glasses at the moment so this is perfect. i also love its semi-cat eye shape. i’ll take better pictures soon so you can see!

and finally, my new maybelline eye studio lasting drama gel eyeliner and maybelline color sensational lipcolor in passion red. these two items were inside a goodie bag given away during BLOGGERS UNITED (maybelline was one of our sponsors) and i am so happy i got them!

i’m not a huge fan of eye liners – no matter the type – because i suck at applying them. my eyes always end up looking lopsided somehow. but maybelline’s gel liner is SO easy to use! plus it’s highly pigmented and lasts all day long. as for the lipstick… it’s my first red that isn’t matte. at first i was worried (i used to believe red lip colors look better matte) but now i can’t get enough of it! i wear it every. single. day.

anyway! i did wear some of these things out when i watched x-men first class with raf. have you guys seen it? it’s awesome.
