Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren’t pretty, or smart, or young.
we took these on our third day in baguio, along the always-jam-packed session road – which incidentally is one of my favorite spots in the whole city. i love visiting thrift shops and pigging out on the many food choices in the area…and generally just walking up and down the busy busy road.
checkered dress – thrifted
pageboy hat – topshop
patent oxfords – gozum
quilted bag – thrifted
here are also a couple of photos raf took of me on the manor hotel grounds, where we battled insane winds and pouring rain for the sake of a few good photographs and footage. we both ended up totally soaked and slightly delirious, but it was SO worth it!
and in case you were wondering, the title of this post is from the movie “a little princess“. my loving boyfriend teased me the entire day that i wore this outfit. he called me becky, who i’m sure is familiar to those who have seen the film (or the cartoons!). why he didn’t deem me worthy of being called sara, i’ll never know. (:

This just makes me miss Baguio so much. Have you been to VOCAS? It's a magical little place hidden in one of the buildings in Session road. It's actually an art space owned by Kidlat Tahimik. 🙂
