Why Eugene Domingo Is The New Anne Curtis

in the upcoming film MY HOUSE HUSBAND (IKAW NA!), the oh-so-talented EUGENE DOMINGO takes on a rather unlikely persona: the OTHER woman. starring alongside real-life couple judy ann santos and ryan agoncillo, the multi-awarded actress plays AIDA”who everybody knows is a kept woman of a rich man who would occasionally visit her and her son to spend the night”. she causes quite a stir in the movie as she befriends – and outwardly flirts with – her neighbor ROD (agoncillo) while his wife MIA (santos) goes to work every day.

ms. eugene however says that even though the infamous kara zalderiaga (anne curtis’ character in the recent blockbuster hit no other woman) was her “peg” for this movie, she still maintains her wholesome, endearing appeal throughout.

i don’t know about you, but i am insanely curious to find out how all of this pans out in the movie. with their stellar cast and mind-blowingly talented director jose javier reyes, i’m sure it will entertain us movie-goers to no end. (:

incidentally, did you know that ms. eugene stars in two other films in this year’s roster of the metro manila film festival? i guess that’s something to add to her status as being the first lead actress in philippine cinema to star in the most number of films (seven) in a year. WOWZA.
