Vlog # 2
hey guys! here is my second vlog (in which i talk about thrift shopping). i basically just enumerated my favorite thrifting destinations and gave some little tips, a.k.a the things i’ve learned to do over the years of crazed thrift shopping. i’m quite certain this post will only interest local readers. hehe.
again, some disclaimers:
1. i’m not claiming to be an expert on the local ukay-ukay scene, so these are all just from personal experience and my own preferences on the matter.
2. after every thrifting “area” that i mention in the video, i show a couple of photos wherein i am wearing my favorite finds from that particular place. it might startle you at first though because i didn’t give any intro to it, hehe.
3. at the part where i ramble about muñoz and the north expressway, i fail to mention that it’s along edsa.
4. i make even more hand gestures and bizarre facial expressions here than my first vlog. what can i say; it’s really awkward talking to a camera!
i hope this video answers all your questions about my thrift shopping. if you have any more (or want to share your favorite ukay spots), just leave them in the comments below. happy thrifting! (:

hey there bestie! i’ve actually went to the thrift shops in cubao, and bought some good stuffs there. you should also try that one near katipunan station, i’ve only been there like twice but they sell great stuff, i even saw a D&G shirt there just too bad for me coz it didn’t fit. I hope too see you one day on our ukay-hunt. 🙂

It was also my mom who introduced me to the wonders of the ukay-ukay. Our favorite thrift shop is somewhere near Kamuning market, along K-1st. We’ve been going there for years! 😀

There’s a lot of thrift shops in Tagaytay, Olivarez plaza specifically. I wish I could meet you sometime…
