A Visit To The Past
my elementary and high school memories would not have been complete without MRS. HOWARD’S, a lovely little nook in front of my old school, full of delicious food and signature baked goods. i – much like my classmates and the students i rode with on the school bus – would always save up on allowances just to be able to buy one or two of mrs. howard’s treats: a plate of yummy spaghetti, their famous burgito (small-sized burgers), or perhaps a yummy little cupcake (my favorite was always the beehive, a chocolate cupcake with a towering swirl of whipped cream and chocolate chips).
and so when i visited this little corner just yesterday, it didn’t even matter that a lot of it had already changed. i was still the same giddy student at the end of a tiring school day, excited to fill my belly with delicious food and go home with sweet treats in my pocket.
on the table: burgito, iced tea and dalandan juice, tacquitos, crabstick sandwich, penne pasta.

Marian din po ako, Ms. Bestie! I must say though that I’ve only tried their food once and I can hardly even remember that experience. The food looks so good, and the new place looks more inviting. 🙂
