as i type this, it is pouring outside and i can smell the sweet smell of grass being soaked in the rain. it’s a wonderful change, really, as the summer heat was really starting to get to me. one step outside and i am usually a hot, sweaty mess: hair sticking to the sides of my neck, chest heaving with desperate longing for some cool air. i’m surprised i can even put together a decent-looking outfit these days, when all i really want is to dress in threadbare clothes and splash around streaming rivers all day long.
