for some reason, incorporating animal prints and other such elements into my outfits always gets me excited. i feel like i have little pets out with me for the day — which must sound incredibly weird and unnerving, but is actually a comforting thought to me. i myself have never been much of a “pet person” (our family is notoriously bad at taking care of animals, except for a sweet black cat i had as a young teen that we all loved but had to give away when my little sister was born), so wearing anything animal-like almost makes up for that little void in my life.
