As Simple As It Is

often i get asked – especially by readers of this blog – whether i dress in “simple clothes”, too. such queries used to astound me but i’ve grown accustomed to them over the years. the answer to this is yes (as evidenced by the outfit above) and i am just as comfortable in those as i am when decked in all sorts of crazy things. but to be honest i don’t even think the people around me are used to seeing me dressed plainly anymore. colleagues like pointing out my “normal clothes” whenever they can, and even my friend who took these photos got surprised when i asked him to take them for the blog. “really?!” was the startled response he deemed appropriate for that moment, to which i laughed, because i had completely expected it. well, what do you expect a girl to wear on a day of walking around, assisting in a little photoshoot, lugging a big umbrella to guard against intermittent drizzles?

i used l’oreal golden copper blonde for a few months but recently colored on top of it with sunset red from HBC. (;

well, my photos are usually taken by friends or family (i always indicate at the bottom of my photos who took that particular set). if you don’t see a name there, then it means i took them with a self-timer and tripod. (: i believe most fashion bloggers ask their friends to take their photos, too! x
