Slow But Steady

lately i have been browsing tumblr a lot during my idle time and have noticed a happy little shift in fashion-related photos: people seem to be posting (and re-posting) more varied looks of women. there appears to be a greater awareness as to how style inspiration can be found in ladies of all shapes and sizes, and is not limited to skinny girls in hipster clothes. i know we have a long, long way to go in realizing a broader acceptance of such diversity (those in the fashion industry certainly have their work cut out for them), but i am happy to see women’s clothing in larger sizes getting more appreciation from common folk. and if something as mainstream as tumblr can help propagate such ideals, then maybe there is hope after all.
