often i do wonder just how far i can push the boundaries of my outfits; how much of each opposing element i can integrate into a look before it starts looking like a sad little trainwreck. i’ve never had much of a problem with looking a bit peculiar fashion-wise, even in public settings, but since many such situations tend to result in uncomfortable exchanges and glances, i do try to tone it down a bit.

i wore this outfit on valentine’s day and while i had not meant for it to be so “out there”, apparently people took the time to really notice.
