Fair Weather, Foul Weather

a lot of the foreign blogs i follow are currently filling up with all sorts of why-is-it-still-winter rants. while i do sympathize with their frustration at the bone-crushing cold, i can’t help but feel envious as well. almost everyday i lash out at the summer heatwave we’ve been experiencing, coupled with this freaky, occasional rainfall that just makes everything far more humid and too irritating to bear. so while it may be ridiculous for me to wear a sweater and floor-sweeping maxi in this crazy climate, it actually ended up being the only thing that kept me sane throughout the day.

well… that and mall air-conditioning.
