1. the face shop power perfection BB cream

i am a huge make-up girl but have never been too keen on foundation (it just takes forever to apply), so for years i’ve just used cheap liquid foundations with light, easy-to-blend formulas, and invested on more “logical” products like high-end concealers that cover up imperfections well. recently though i got to try the power perfection BB cream by the face shop, and got completely hooked. at first it felt kind of weird to apply and i wasn’t sure if it would last on my oily skin, since the product seemed really thick and sticky. to my surprise though, it proved to be quite a long-lasting, flawless base for my make-up (it can camouflage minor blemishes and spots when you learn to work it!) and even controls my oil for several hours. i am just so, so, so in love with it.

3. kenneth cole reaction mercer street wallet

this adorable little thing was gifted to me by my friend john as a late birthday present. i just adore its yummy colors (it’s got fuchsia lining!) and roomy-ness.

 

4. avon totally kissable lipstick in make out red

i’ve acquired a little over a dozen red lipticks in the last couple of years (it’s ironic, really, since i rarely ever wear the color) and this is the latest addition: a darling shade called “make out red” from the avon totally kissable line. it glides on really smooth and leaves a comfortable, creamy feeling on the lips, which i love for the hot weather. plus its pinkish-red hue is incredibly flattering on, and stands out in my still-growing arsenal of red lippies.

 

5. homeland

this show is my absolute new addiction. the drama, the suspense, the paranoia — they all add up to one gripping plot that won’t soon lose its place in my action-seeking heart.
