Out Of The Clear Blue Sky

these photos are kind of pointedly misleading. they portray a summery sort of outfit, taken on what appears to be a gloriously bright day in the middle of a seemingly unending summer. but manila has transitioned well into the wet season; the sun timidly peeking out of the clouds for a mere few hours before it starts to pour well into the night. i hardly ever complain about the rain but this recent weather has led me to a surprising daily uniform of t-shirt + skirt + flats. nothing wrong with that, really — except that when i fall into a rut i tend to stay there for a dreary long time before i am able to shake it off completely…
