Bring Forth Myriad Blossoms

if you’ve read the blog long enough you’d have probably noticed i hardly ever wear body-hugging dresses. i never did hop on the bodycon bandwagon because i prefer my usual silhouettes of a-line skirts and loose-fitting clothes (plus i am much too self-conscious to try otherwise). i do admire women who effortlessly don body-skimming pieces however, so i decided to take advantage of the ASOS sale to buy my first real bodycon dress. this one is a striking floral midi that wears quite comfortably — aside from the occasional struggle to take larger strides when in a hurry. while it is still a bit loose around the waist and towards the hem, it truly felt like a step out of my comfort zone. i can’t promise any succeeding posts wearing such clothing but if i do go down that road, i’d say this is quite a lovely start.
