easily one of the most intimidating pieces i have ever come across, the tutu skirt is truly a force to be reckoned with. the modern day, fashion-forward version of the tutu is soft, feminine, and incredibly easy to wear — once you get past the initial “i will look like a 5-year-old” presumption. it comes in different lengths and fabrics these days and all you need to possess is a good amount of enthusiasm thrown in with some broad imagination to explore its myriad possibilities: grunge, romantic, sporty, avant-garde…every look is made lovelier with the simple addition of this darling piece.
