photographer stephen wilkes gives a whole new meaning to new york’s infamous slogan “a city that never sleeps” in his mesmerizing Day to Night series, where his time lapse photos capture the transformations of the big apple from sunrise ’til sunset. wilkes would spend up to 15 hours at a single spot, taking up to 1000 pictures of each location. the results? a stunning visual that makes all my desires to visitnew york that much stronger.
