Almost Summer

i am usually the kind of person who delays the imminent arrival of summer by way of dressing up (sweaters in march, holla!) and a self-assigned attitude of steadfast denial, but one cannot deny the appeal of certain things associated with the season — bright colors and nautical elements, to name a few. i got these wedges to wear especially during summer and they are already conjuring up images of floaty summer dresses and all sorts of warm-weather adventures awaiting me and my beau. i’m quite certain this summer is going to be a fun one, although i can’t shake the feeling that i am going to regret my premature excitement once our infamous temperatures reach their unbearable heights.
