lately i’ve become more and more drawn to easy tops like this that i can just throw on and not fuss about — pieces that are, in most ways, uncharacteristically me (i like the fuss), but also too comforting and sensible to just pass up. i’ve wondered whether it is my upcoming birthday that has made my recent sartorial choices take a turn for the more streamlined and “mature,” but to be honest i’m not really worried about it. i am, after all, writing all this in a cutesy floral dress and ruffled socks…
