Cuppykat Cupcakes

i got a very sweet treat from CUPPYKAT CUPCAKES: this box of a dozen homemade cupcakes that not only look gorgeous, but taste absolutely divine as well.

cupcakes are one of my favorite things in the world and i am very picky with them. i want ’em sweet, but not so much that you feel like gagging after a couple of bites. and i need my cupcakes to be both moist and fluffy, a combination that not a lot of makers are able to accomplish.

i can honestly say i enjoyed the 6 flavors i got from cuppykat and with these photos i hope you get an idea of just how yummy they are.

my selection included these three beauties: triple chocolate (P55), strawberry cupcake (P60) and blueberry cupcake (P60). the fruity ones are quite sweet and rich — perfect to pair with some strong coffee or tea. the chocolate cupcake is oh-so-decadent, without being overly sweet, which is exactly the way i want it. it’s the kind of flavor you can eat pleeeenty of.

another tasty one is dulce de leche (P55), a sweet and creamy concoction that, for some reason, makes me think of my childhood. this brightens up the dullest of days!

and of course, one cannot miss to jump on the cookie butter bandwagon with these two choco-based cupcakes, cookie butter (P65) and walnut cookie butter (P70). these are probably my favorites from the bunch (and i’m not even a huge cookie butter fan!) because their dark chocolate base + mildly sweet topping send me to heaven. true story.
