My Hair Color
“what’s your hair color?” — a question that i get asked at least a handful of times a week on my blog, email and all social media platforms. so today i thought i’d dedicate a post to address it for all those who have ever wondered. (:
what i have not officially announced yet is that i’ve been named one of MATRIX PHILIPPINES‘ brand ambassadors for the year (woot!). it is such an honor for to be trusted by one of the world’s most renowned salon brands, and a true delight indeed because it means my hair will be taken great care of all through 2014!
these photos were taken a few weeks ago at the matrix color madness event at status hair salon in katipunan. i only came in for a roots retouching since i was/am still very much in love with my current red-copper hue (it’s just a bit washed out by the lighting in these photos). the color that they used on me was Matrix WonderLight in Gold, though my whole hair was previously dyed with the Light Golden Copper shade. i guess they are quite similar, since you literally cannot tell the difference between my roots and the rest of my locks!
either option will give you a bright, copper-red color, so make sure to ask for it at your favorite salon next time you come in for an all-over dye. want to know my secret to keeping my color last a long time? i use the matrix biolage colorcaretherapie line, which really does keep my red hue bright and shiny like first application! if you have color-treated hair i swear it is a godsend. ♥
if you have any more questions about my hair color or haircare routine do let me know in the comments below! i may soon get some sort of hair makeover *wink wink* so i figured it’s the perfect time to address these now. (:

Hi! Sorry if this comment is unrelated to the post. I just wanted to share that my sister saw you last night at the supermarket and she said you stood out from the crowd even if you were only wearing a white printed shirt and jeans. I wish I was there! I’ve been a reader of yours since 2010!
