Wishlist Wednesday: Dream Prom Dresses

before i get on with this post, no, i am not attending any sort of prom in the near future, and probably will have no use for any of the beautiful dresses below other than to stare at them endlessly or wear one to a party if i ever decide to really overdress.

and yet here i am with a complete wishlist of some truly sweet prom dresses, all of which i would be happy to wear if it were ten years ago and had all the money in the world. it’s not too late to dream though, right? and hey, if you are someone who WILL attend prom soon, you might see something you like!

i still remember my senior year prom dress. it was a bright pink floor-length gown, with soft peach fabric running down the front and some bits of sparkle thrown here and there. i really loved that gown and the dresses above remind me of it! i’d gladly wear any of them since i’m sure my own prom dress will no longer fit me today. sigh.

for those who like the princess-y look (hey i do, too!), here are my top picks. whether you want to go the cotton candy frou-frou route or the icy, queen-of-arendelle one, there is certainly a prom dress for you. they are beautiful, no?

some of my most coveted prom dresses, however, are these ones: bold, super chic head-turners that make a girl’s prom a truly memorable one. plus, these kinds of styles make for more versatile choices in the long run. they can work as a great option for any sort of formal event, post-prom. now that’s what i call bang for your buck.
