Five-Way Friday: Blue And White Polka Dot Dress
shortly after i did my new year’s blog post, where i wore my new favorite retro dress (polka dots for prosperity, y’all!), i realized i have amassed quite a collection of blue-and-white polka dot patterned clothing. above is a sampling of my dresses in the print, but i also have a notable selection of tops, skirts and other items in the same pattern+color combination. i think polka dots are one of the easiest ways to add some fun to any outfit; all of the dresses i featured here can easily be dressed up or down, plainly or colorfully, and always maintain a kind of quirkiness that is so telling of a playful print like polka dots.
i adore every single dress that you see here, but my favorite is still my oldie-but-a-goodie topshop dress (3rd outfit) because it is so classy and lady-like. its shape it also a bit reminiscent of the 1940s silhouette, which i don’t really wear as often as i would like to. must remedy that!
