Create Your Favorite Feeling
for years now i’ve been keen to try aerators. i mean, they just spread like wildfire in the local market and i know SO many people who are obsessed with them, so it was natural for me to be curious. but i always worried that they weren’t going to be worth the purchase or the upkeep (constant repurchasing of scents, mostly), plus i don’t have AC at home and felt like i wouldn’t get the full experience otherwise.
fast forward to a few weeks ago when i received a special delivery from FAVORI Scents. they sent over one of their aerators (Php 2,000) for me to try, alongside four fragrances — vanilla, cherry blossoms, coco vanilla and rain dance — all of which i ended up liking a lot. my favorite rainy day concoction is cherry blossoms + rain dance.
the device was surprisingly easy to use (it comes with very straightforward instructions), and a lot of it comes down to personal preference as well. it’s up to you which aroma oils to use or combine, how many of them, and how many drops of each — variations of which create something entirely different, every time.

FAVORI offers a ton of scent variants that range from sweet to stimulating, upbeat to relaxing, among others. i knew i had to give them all a proper sniff, so we visited the FAVORI branch in SM megamall to see what other scents might tickle my fancy.
i spent a long time smelling this scent and that, as there were a lot of really lovely ones and it was difficult to choose a handful to take with me (i limited myself on my first trip since i already had those original four waiting at home). i was also provided with a small tin of coffee beans to “reset” my sense of smell in between fragrances, which helped a lot.
in the end i chose seven 10ml bottles (Php150/ea): coffee caramel, mango mandarin, apple verde, cranberry wine, merry berry, ginger flower and olive branch. i really like food-scented things so almost all of my picks follow that theme. but even so, i got a good variety of fragrances, with some being bright and sweet, others fresh and zesty, and a couple were more sultry and intoxicating.
also, look at all the cute designs they sell! isn’t it great how personalized the whole experience is? not only are FAVORI products a must-have for your space (be it your home, office or retail area), they also make for awesome gifts. i can personally vouch for the fact that the aerator works fabulously in both air-conditioned and non-airconditioned spaces, so they really are for everyone.
