Never Too Far Behind
this weekend, i’ll be going out of town with my husband john and a few of our friends (a set of three couples, and some adorable kids). it will be a rather low-key trip; our goals will mostly include walking around, having long chats, possibly shopping a bit, and hopefully eating some very good food. we’ve been looking forward to this for several weeks and i’m so glad it’s finally here!
to be honest, i only packed this dress at the last minute. i hadn’t bothered to bring shoes to go with it, but considered grabbing some jewelry to accessorize, at the very least. a locket necklace would have been pretty, in hindsight. or perhaps a sparkly tennis bracelet? i also have some dainty dangling earrings that could have worked nicely. but alas, as all of these options ran through my head, i felt my all-too-familiar decision paralysis set in and simply abandoned them all.
it seemed to work out in the end, bare as i felt while taking these photos. it helped a lot that the airbnb was an accessory in itself, so that was really all that i needed.

while i won’t be doing impromptu shoots this time around, i know the memories we make will be just as fun and meaningful as before. i’ve also been looking up korean restaurants in the area so we have some great options for dinner. we’re all so excited!
