the little white dress

i wanted to come up with 4 outfits using a ‘staple dress’ and so i chose the little white dress (lwd) instead of its usual black counterpart. it has nothing to do with my color preference, per se, only perhaps with the fact that i’ve always hated the acronym ‘lbd’. doesn’t it make you think of some embarrassingly icky disease?

anyway, i decided to go with a jumper-dress (my favorite kind!). it’s more versatile, i think, and to be honest, much cuter than most regular dresses.

clockwise from left:
lazy summer day: tank top, scarf, canvas bag, flat sandals
night-out uniform: flowy blouse, black tights, clutch bag, mary-jane heels
confused student: plaid shirt, ankle boots, shoulder bag, bowtie (with rainbow polka dots
preppy with a twist: cardi, pink tights, animal print flats, silver locket

the ‘confused student’ is probably my favorite… it’s kinda like me.(:
