white-legged

you see, here in manila (or perhaps any part of the philippines for that matter), the only people who wear white tights are nurses. or nursing students. and let me tell you, we have a lot of those here. so it’s been an awkward thought for me to be white-legged on a completely casual day, while walking alongside girls in their all-white uniforms. it may sound strange, but it was really how i saw it.

but then i realized it isn’t an issue at all. i’ve been so silly, thinking i’d get embarrassed somehow. if i want to wear white tights with regular clothes, then why the hell not? who would stop me? and anyway, i’ve worn some fairly adventurous outfits before that i seem to have gotten away with. so white tights can’t be that bad, right?

well i’m glad i went for it. i had a blast; i felt like a little dolly-doll walking all over town. but of course, it could have been because of the dress i was wearing…
