For the (Lack of) Love of Summer

truth is, i am not a huge fan of the summer. i simply cannot stand the excruciating heat. that’s why i keep on saying i want to live somewhere with four seasons, because i would much rather bear the cold for most of the year than the crazy heat year-round.

but alas, i cannot resist the fashion aspect of it.

last night i covered an event with speedo, where they showed their 2010 s/s collection. it was lovely!

there were sporty swimsuits…

and semi-nautical ones. the one-pieces are soo adorable! i just hate that i wasn’t able to get decent pictures of them. darn my lousy point and shoot!

there were, of course, gorgeous men as well…

suits in pretty florals that channeled the 70’s…

and the usual brights of the summer season.

i want them all! even though i don’t have any plans yet to go to the beach this year.. haha. but for the rest of you who do enjoy the beach and are already planning to go, hey, i’m excited for you! :p
