i’ve been watching – and re-watching – mad men recently (as well as the help) and i always get excited when the gals on the show wear trousers. it’s just such a nice contrast to the usual 50’s/60’s full-skirt look, or even the bombshell silhouette (both of which i also love, btw) that the women always don. and so this outfit is kind of a tribute to that, especially because i think my top kind of screams 50’s. but i doubt if anyone from back then would’ve gone all print-crazy like i did here…
