kimono on the road, holla!
confession: ever since i unearthed this kimono at my favorite thrift shop i’d been having fantasies of flouncing it around city streets…wind in my hair and all. well our city streets don’t exactly equate to safe, happy, stress-free outfit shoots, so i had to settle for my old campus road with very few vehicles and significantly more foot traffic. it may have been a struggle to pretend that people weren’t flat-out staring at us, but in the end it was all worth the effort.
