Game Night

if you follow me on twitter, you might have already gotten a glimpse of my recent obsession: playing board games at the appraisery. along with some cool new friends, i spend several hours there getting lost in crazy games of wit and deception, all the while stuffing my face silly with the shop’s selection of yummy sandwiches and addicting drinks. i’ve never been much of a gamer but i have now become so hooked on these board games that my nightly sleep gets smattered with some rather vivid plot lines involving them.

my favorites so far include pandemic, dixit, and the always intense the resistance. maybe soon i will be able to sum up the courage to go for the more complicated role-playing games… but for now these keep me incredibly entertained.

i highly recommend going to the appraisery for some fun and games with your friends (plus some shopping and face-stuffing, too!). try going on a thursday — it’s game night and everything on the menu’s at 10% off!
