Viva Firenze
besides from the onset of summer, my recent nostalgia for rome had also seemingly stemmed from my relentless obsession with pinterest these days. i’ve always been active on there (do you follow me, by any chance?) but lately my “pinning” has reached whole new heights.
i have a few favourite boards from my page but one that i feel truly happy about is my travel board, aptly called see the world. i am a big fan of traveling — more so than shopping, tbh — but sadly have had less opportunities to take on new frontiers these last few years. but with this little travel nook i have online i genuinely feel like i am taking on new, beautiful adventures every single day.
my current fixation is on florence — breathtaking, historic florence. this italian city, often referred to as firenze, offers an endless array of sights to see, from cathedrals to museums and bridges to town squares. seeing all of the city’s magnificence in photos makes me want to book a flight and hotel (perhaps one of the beautiful florence hotels near the duomo?) this instant and travel all through the next couple of months. i can already see it: carefree days of browsing art galleries, walking along parks of towering trees and age-old sculptures, taking snapshot after snapshot of gorgeous scenery and getting my fill of gelato through it all.
okay, who’s coming with?
