sometimes i truly feel like the most boring person ever; always wearing the same pieces, doing the same things, going to the same places. i know falling into a routine and having personal favorites are not a negative thing — there is comfort in the familiar, after all, and a unique kind of satisfaction in knowing yourself and what you like. but it’s nice to mix it up from time to time, you know? i still get excited discovering little things that add a bit of thrill to the everyday grind. this lovely eye clutch is one such possession that makes me more delighted than usual to leave the house. dressing up in my habitual pairing of top-and-skirt seems a little less mundane with the addition of this quirky piece, no?
