in all my years of blogging and style experimentation, this is the first time i’ve actually owned and worn a beret. it is a type of headwear i have always admired on others, however not a style i felt suited me particularly well (weird head-shape problems). perhaps it was all imagined and borne out of undiscovered insecurities, but the beret has just always intimidated me. well, that changes today. this little woolen hat is, quite literally, my new favorite accessory and i can’t wait to wear it out more. plus, i am now feeling extremely excited to buy berets in different colors!
